Help

We are always happy to help so if you can't find what you're looking for then contact us here.

Finding Products

We have tried to make products easy to find at Ableworld. We have split our product ranges into several different departments, all of which can be accessed from the dropdown "Shop by Department" list in the top blue navigation bar on the website.

To make your product selection as simple as possible, we have further split each department into categories, which can be accessed by clicking on the department.

You can also search for the product you want by using our Search Box at the top of the website and then pressing the yellow search icon.

How to register

Account registration is part of the ordering process. Once you have placed your first order with us you will then have your account details to login.

If you have previously registered you can login into your exisitng account by clicking 'Your Account' at the top right of your screen.  You will need your email address/username and password.

Using the Shopping Basket.

Using the shopping cart is simple. To add a product to your basket, simply click on the 'Add to Basket' or 'Reserve to Buy In-Store' button next to the item you wish to purchase. Once the product is in your basket you can either continue shopping or go to the checkout.

If you have an item in your basket to purchase the website will assume you will only want to continue with items to purchase, and therefore you cannot reserve any items within the same transaction and vice versa. If you would like to place an order and also reserve an item this will need to be processed as 2 orders.

Payment Methods

You can pay for your goods online via our automated online payment service using a Paypal account, a Credit or Debit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Switch, Solo and Delta cards.

Customer Registration and VAT Exempt Products.

Some of the products on sale in our store are VAT exempt, but only if the purchaser is suffering from one or more of the disabilities listed on the Customer Registration form.

The Vat Exemption Form will appear at the checkout on your first visit. Once you have completed a VAT declaration you will not be asked to complete it on each visit, your declaration will be saved on your account details.

For more information on VAT Exemption please click here.

Returns

Ableworld understands that there are times when you will have to or want to return a purchase. We will happily refund or exchange your purchase made on the internet in the following circumstances:

If you decide that the product is not for you: If this is the case then the 'unwanted' product must be returned to Ableworld in its original condition with all packaging and accessories, within 14 days of delivery. As there would be no fault with the product, then the cost of returning it would be your responsibility, including if the goods need to be returned by means other than by standard post.

If the product is damaged or is faulty upon receipt: We will exchange the product as quickly as possible and pay for your postage costs for return or issue you with a refund.

If the product develops a fault whilst it is still within its warranty period: If this is so, then we allow 28 days for you to return the product to us, in turn we will offer either a replacement, refund or repair. If the product is too large to return by post then we can arrange to collect it if you are in the surrounding areas of one of our stores. If it is only a minor fault, we may be able to send an engineer who may be able to fix the problem on site.

Unfortunately due to the nature of certain products we are unable to accept returns due to hygiene reasons on the following items:

  • Toileting
  • Some Bathing Items

All orders will contain a return form - please ensure you complete this form and include it within your package to ensure we can process it as quickly as possible.

Any queries regarding online orders or returns please contact our Shrewsbury store on 01743 369427
