Job Title:              Maintenance Support Engineer

Position:               Full Time, Permanent

Hours:                   9:00 am to 5:00pm (5 days over 6 on a rota basis)

Salary:                  £23,000 - £23,250 pa plus generous company bonus

Area:                     Stapeley (Nantwich, Cheshire) and surrounding areas

 

An exciting position has arisen for an Engineer who is interested in learning about mobility products and equipment. You will be based at the engineering workshop in our Stapeley Head Office, where you will complete high quality control checks on a range of equipment (mobility scooters, wheelchairs, powerchairs etc).  You will also have the opportunity to repair and service items in our customer’s homes, where you will get to interact with our customers directly, taking great satisfaction in your role by helping our customers gain independence again. With being a centralised hub at our Head Office, this position will come with the opportunity to travel in one of our Ableworld vans to support our other workshops where needed in our area.

 

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Checking, repairing and servicing products in the workshop and onsite
  • Completing electronic checklists of work carried out
  • Liaising with Head Office and customers about repairs, servicing etc
  • Reflecting work carried out on our user friendly till system
  • Maintaining all tools, spares and equipment within a safe working condition
  • Keeping the work area in a clean and tidy condition
  • Supporting the store on deliveries and collections when required
